SAM HEATH KNIVES

Hi, my name is Sam. I'm a knife maker from South Australia.

I was a chef for about 14 years and I wanted to make the beautiful chef’s knives that I couldn’t afford, but I ended up spending a lot more on tooling.

​

My first attempt at making a knife was a personal challenge to myself – I just wanted to see if I could make a knife from scratch. Over a few days I made a knife-shaped object using a disk grinder and files. It was pretty rough, but I was hooked.

Since then, my vision has been to turn an essential kitchen tool into a beautiful, functional, handcrafted quality knife any one would be proud to own.
